Teutopolis school board members Monday took action on several personnel matters.

The Board approved resignations from Jessica Schackmann as high school varsity volleyball coach, Heather Pruemer as junior high track coach, and Lisa Vahling as a school bus driver. The Board agreed to seek a successor to Schackmann as volleyball coach, and approved Kristi Kastl as a student teacher for spring semester.

the Board also approved a resolution to support the Illinois Vision 20/20 Initiative. The initiative, which was developed by a number of statewide education organizations, is designed to create a blueprint for education in Illinois. Supporters say the initiative is to put educators and school boards on the offensive when it comes to education in the state.

Board members also reviewed a possible calendar for next school year, recent donations for technology, and the budget at the mid-year point.
