An Effingham man has been arrested on two long-time outstanding warrants.

67-year-old Herman Wesselman was arrested Saturday morning by city police. Wesselman was arrested on warrants stemming from his prison sentence imposed in early 2011 for felony driving while his license was suspended or revoked, as well as a separate unresolved charge of driving while license suspended or revoked.

The cases are from 2009 and 2010, respectively.

Wesselman is scheduled to make a court appearance this morning.
