Two Effingham County School Districts Ranked in Top 100 Niche Rating

There's more than 850 public school districts in Illinois, and two of those from our area, according to Niche.com, are in their Top 100.

Altamont and Teutopolis made the list, according to Niche, who claims to rank more than 100,000 public and private schools and districts in the U.S. Their website says they base the rankings on dozens of statistics and 27 million opinions from 300,000 students and parents across the country.

Their annual ranking has Altamont at number 82, and Teutopolis at 93. The full list is available here.

Niche gave both schools a 'B' grade, ranking both high in Academics, giving each schools teachers high marks as well.
