"Cheeseburgers on Bourbon Street" United Way Fundraiser

United Way of Effingham County is busy planning for the Cheeseburgers on Bourbon Street fundraiser.  The evening will be filled with fun, food and entertainment.  The event is scheduled for Friday, February 13 at the Effingham Knights of Columbus Building on West Fayette. 

Advance tickets are $25 per person or $30 at the door.  Tickets can be purchased from any United Way Board Member, Midland States Bank or by calling the United Way office at (217) 342-3824.

Doors will open at 5:30 pm with the meal being served from 6-7:30 pm. Entertainment for the night will be provided by the “One Man Band” with a raffle & silent auction.  A live auction will be conducted by local auctioneer, Trent Schmid.

The United Way supports 21 local health and human service agencies. All proceeds from the night’s festivities will go into the general funds to help support the programming provided by these agencies.
