Children and adults are invited to enter the Winter Challenge at the Helen Matthes Library.

The Winter Challenge provides 17 fun activities that encourage children as well as adults to continue learning either on their own or as a family.

Registration for the Winter Challenge is available online at www.effinghamlibrary.org and participants can print a copy of their Winter Challenge Log after registering.  Participants are also welcome to visit the Library where Information Desk staff will be happy to assist with online registration if needed.

With each completed task, participants will earn an entry to one of three drawings. Prizes for the Winter Challenge Drawing include a Kindle Fire Tablet, a Family Night Out Package and a $50 KB Learning and Toys Gift Certificate. Participants who complete 10 tasks or activities will earn a tasty treat.

Participants can fill out drawing slips until Saturday, Jan. 10.

No library card is needed to participate.  To sign up, visit the library’s website at www.effinghamlibrary.org or visit the Information Desk.  For more details, visit www.effinghamlibrary.org or call the library at 342-2464 x3.
