Clay County Board Chooses New Chairman

Members of the Clay County Board have selected a new chairman.

Board members chose Ted Whitehead of Flora to chair the board. Whitehead succeeds Sue Pettit, who had asked not to be reappointed as chairman.

Chris Rinehart of Louisville returns as the Board's vice-chairman.

Two new members were sworn in to the board; John Bayler and Jeremy Wildbur. Actually, Bayler served on the Board in the past, but resigned when he moved out of his district. In November, he was elected to the Board from the district in which he now resides.
