Bierman Elected Jasper County Board Chairman

Jasper County Board members Monday elected Joe Bierman to chair the Board for the new term.

The Board also elected Jeff Smithenry as Vice-Chairman.

The election of the officers followed the swearing-in of six board members elected in November. The Board also approved committee assignments for the coming term.

Board members also approved another term for Bill Hoffeditz as Jasper County Public Defender.
