That's a Lot of Shoeboxes!!

Organizers of the Effingham Operation Christmas Child collection effort are offering their thanks to everyone who helped with the collection effort.

Local organizer Pat Berry said 21,135 shoeboxes were collected by Monday night's deadline. The shoeboxes are distributed around the globe by Operation Christmas Child, an agency of Samaritan's Purse, a worldwide people-helping organization. The shoeboxes contain hygiene items, toys and games, and reminders of the love of God translated into their native languages.
