Lake Land College Offers Free Computer Classes

Lake Land College's Adult Educatiion will offer two free computer classes at the Kluthe Center for Higher Education & Technology, 1204 Network Center Blvd., Effingham.

The first class, Basic Computer Concepts, is designed to help new computer users get started using a personal computer. The second class, Basic Microsoft Office will provide an overview of Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The classes will meet each Tuesday and Thursday from December 2-19. The class schedule is as follows: 8-10 a.m. -- Basic Computer Concepts. 10 a.m.-noon -- Basic Microsoft Office.

Each class is limited to 12 seats and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. To register, contact Lake Land College Adult Education at 217-238-8292 or adulteducation@lakeland.cc.il.us.
