Work Underway at U of I on Center for Wounded Veterans

Work is underway at the University of Illinois to provide educational opportunities for military veterans who were wounded in combat.

To be known as The Chez Family Foundation Center for Wounded Veterans, the facility will provide educational opportunties while accommodating the unique needs of veterans, whether it's dealing with physical injuries or other disabilities. The Center will open in the fall of 2015.

News Director Greg Sapp had the opportunity to talk with Dr. Nicholas Osborne, Assistant Director for Wounded Veterans in Higher Education. They spoke about the Center as well as the program that will include opportunities to mainstream the veterans into other educational facilties on campus.
