The end of life can be tough.  For the one who's dying and for those loved ones who sometimes don't know what to say and what to do and how to say goodbye,

Hospice care is specifically designed to assist people during the dying stage of life.  St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham has a Hospice program in place as they endeavor to help complete the cycle of life.

Shawna O'Dell works with the hospital's Hospice Care program and spoke about Hospice and about the hospital's program at the meeting of the Effingham Noon Rotary Club September 17.  She answered questions and heard testimonials from Rotarians whose families have been helped by Hospice.

Rotarian Sharon Boerngen, served as weekly program chairman.
