Two Kinmundy Residents Injured in Effingham Crash

Two Kinmundy residents were injured in a crash in Effingham during the noon hour Monday.

Effingham city police say a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Derek Leggett of Uhrichsville, Ohio collided with a vehicle driven by 51-year-old John Lawless of Kinmundy. The crash occurred at 12:22pm south of the intersection of Keller Drive and Avenue of Mid America.

Lawless and his passenger, 55-year-old Tamala Lawless of Kinmundy, were both injured and were taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Leggett was cited for failure to yield.
