Subject of Recent Manhunt Arrested

A Windsor man who was the subject of a recent manhunt was arrested over the weekend.

Effingham city police arrested 41-year-old Matthew Armer on Saturday. Armer is wanted on an Effingham County warrant charging failure to appear on a forgery warrant. He is also wanted in Macon County on a warrant charging failure to appear on counts of burglary and aggravated ID theft, a warrant from Coles County alleging failure to appear on counts of possessing an altered ID and domestic battery, a Shelby County warrant charging failure to appear on a count of resisting a peace officer, and a warrant from McCracken County, Kentucky charging theft.

Armer is being held in Effingham County Jail.
