Madigan, White Have Big Leads in New Poll

A new poll shows Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan leading by a large margin over her Republican opponent.

The Reboot Illinois survey has her leading GOP challenger Paul Schimpf by 24 points. Madigan has at least 15-point lead in Chicago, suburban Cook and the collar counties, while Schimpf has a seven-point lead downstate.

A separate Reboot Illinois poll has Secretary of State Jesse White with a 35-point lead over Republican Mike Webster.
