Rollover Accident with Minor Injuries on I-70 Saturday

Two Illinois teens received minor injuries in a crash on Interstate 70 Saturday.

Illinois State Police report that a vehicle driven by 18-year old Alex Stewart of Country Club Hills, IL, was eastbound on Interstate 70 near Altamont at about 3:25pm, when the vehicle left the roadway on the left side. Police say Stewart over-corrected to the right, crossed both eastbound lanes of traffic, then swerved back to the left, flipping several times and ending up in the median.

Stewart and his passenger, 18-year old Tamisha Tyler of Madison, IL, both received minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene.
