Bank in Coles County Robbed Tuesday

Authorities are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon in the Coles County community of Oakland.

Coles County sheriff's deputies and detectives and Charleston police are helping investigate the robbery that occurred at Oakland National Bank.

Police are searching for a white male standing about 5' 8", wearing blue jean shorts and a Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt, and carrying a black backpack.
