Mike Poe Plans to Retire as ARC Director

Mike Poe, Executive Director of ARC Community Support Systems has announced his impending retirement on November 30, 2015. “I wanted to give our Board of Directors ample time to name a successor and allow for a smooth transition to a new Executive Director,” said Poe.

Greg Bean, ARC-CSS Board President said, “Mike Poe is an excellent leader and will be greatly missed but we wish him well in his impending retirement. We, the Board of Directors, have a detailed succession plan in place and have begun the steps to find a well-qualified, capable replacement to continue leading this important agency into the future.”

ARC-CSS was founded in 1962 and Poe is just the third executive director for the agency. Mike began his career at ARC-CSS in 1974, was named Assistant Executive Director in 1985 and then named Executive Director in 2009.
