Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, out of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, will be in Effingham Tuesday evening. A group of people are getting together to help feed them.
The feed will take place at 5pm Tuesday at the National Guard Armory on Temple Avenue.
The group organizing the event are looking for volunteers to help anyway they can, from serving to making desserts.
There are over 100 soldiers in the unit, including a couple of them from Teutopolis. They are on their way back from maneuvers in Indiana and have been eating mostly MREs for the past week.
If you can help in any way, or would like more information, phone Glenn Hammonds at 217-240-1027.
