Louisville Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash

A Louisville man was injured in a motorcycle accident Thursday morning.

State police say 37-year-old Chad Barbee was hurt in an incident also involving another vehicle on US 50 at Olive Road in Flora at 6:15am. Police say a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Lisa Whipps of Valparaiso, Indiana turned onto the highway into the path of Barbee's motorcycle. Barbee had to lay the cycle down to avoid a collision and was thrown from the cycle.

Barbee was taken to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana for treatment.
