Medical marijuana laws in Illinois are changing.
Governor Quinn has signed into law a bill that allows kids with epilepsy to use marijuana to ease their symptoms.
Quinn said, "This new law will help alleviate the suffering of many adults and children across the state."
The law takes effect in January and would allow children who suffer from seizures to be treated with non-smokable forms of cannabis, as long as they have permission from a parent.
