Premier Broadcasting Receives Four Awards from Illinois Broadcasters Association, Teutopolis Native Also Honored

Premier Broadcasting was honored with four awards at the Illinois Broadcasters Association State Convention Wednesday night in Champaign.

News Director Greg Sapp and IT Director Wayne Moran won first place honors in Small Market Radio in the category of Hard News for "The Search for Willow Long".

The stations received a third place award in the Best Radio Station Community Service category for the Easter Eggstravaganza, a third place award in the Best Radio Station Website category, and a third place award in the Best Radio Station Use of New Media category for the Willow story.

Teutopolis native Justin Ritz was also honored at the event. Justin is currently the news director at WCSJ Radio in Morris, IL. He received Silver Dome Awards for Best Radio Spot News Coverage and Best News Reporter in Small Market Radio for his work in covering the tornadoes that hit northern Illinois last year.
