Two Injured in Crash at Keller and Mid America

Two people were hurt in a crash at Keller Drive and Avenue of Mid America in Effingham just after 9pm Thursday.

City police say a vehicle driven by 84-year-old Ralph Stuckemeyer of Beecher City struck a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Deborah Harris of Effingham, causing Harris' vehicle to strike a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Dorthy Verdeyen of Altamont.

Harris and Verdeyen were both injured and were taken by ambulance to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Stuckemeyer was cited for disobeying a traffic control device and violation of a restricted license.
