National Library Week Fundraiser Raises Over $2,500 for New Effingham Library

Nine local companies and organizations took part in a National Library Week fundraiser and raised $2,629 for the new Effingham library.

Companies and organizations taking part were: Bray Title Service, City of Effingham, Effingham County Board, Effingham County Office Building, Effingham County Circuit Clerk's Office, Effingham County State's Attorney's Office, Kingery Printing Company, Sacred Heart School teachers, and St. Anthony Schools.

Employees and students were able to purchase the privilege of wearing casual dress to celebrate National Library Week, and support the community in improvements to the new library.
