Albert Church's trial on delivery of a controlled substance has been continued to July.
Church is charged under an accountability theory. Prosecutors allege that the 23-year-old Church notified a local woman of someone who could supply her with heroin. The woman later died, and authorities allege it was due to heroin usage.
Church is now due to go on trial July 7, with a pre-trial hearing set for June 23.
Church remains in jail under $75,000 bond. Assistant State's Attorney Scott Ealy said the parties involved continue to talk, so a negotiated plea is a possibility.
