Reis to Present Resolution Honoring Teutopolis' 175th Birthday

St. Rep. David Reis is scheduled to visit Teutopolis Tuesday morning to present a House resolution passed to recognize the village on its terquasquicentennial celebration.

A Reis spokesman said this is an actual resolution passed on the floor of the Illinois House.

Reis will present the resolution to members of the 175th birthday celebration committee in an 8am ceremony Tuesday.  The presentation will enable the resolution to be included in a time capsule being prepared to mark the village's milestone.
