Effingham County Chamber Headed to Springfield

A number of Illinois legisators and state agency heads have been invited to meet with officials of the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce and Chamber member businesses during an evening event in Springfield.

It's an opportunity for the Chamber representatives and area businesspeople to promote the Effingham area to those who shape legislation and decision making in Illinois.

The legislative reception is set for Wednesday at Saputo's Restaurant from 6 to 7:30pm. Those attending will also have an opportunity to meet new Illinois Chamber of Commerce President Todd Maisch. Representatives of the Illinois Retail Merchants Association, Illinois Manufacturers Association and Illinois Farm Bureau have also been invited to the event.

The Effingham County Chamber event is taking place in conjunction with the Illinois Chamber Lobby Day in Springfield.
