In honor of National Library Week April 13-19, St. Anthony Grade School and High School offered "jeans days" to their students and faculty. Instead of wearing the schools' standard dress code apparel, students and faculty of St. Anthony Schools were allowed to wear jeans and school appropriate shirts for a donation to Helen Matthes Library
St. Anthony Grade School offered "jeans days" for the full week of April 13-19 while St. Anthony High School offered "jeans day" on Thursday, April 17. St. Anthony Schools recognize the relationship between the schools and Helen Matthes Library as an important one and wanted to show their support for the library's efforts to raise funds for their building campaign.
Collectively, the schools raised $1774 towards the building project for Helen Matthes Library.
Shown in the picture are students from St. Anthony Grade School and High School presenting a check to Holly Bray, member of the Helen Matthes Library Board.
