Decisions at South Central School Board Meeting

South Central school board members took action on a number of items at this week's meeting.

The Board:

--renewed student insurance coverage for next school year with First Agency Inc.

--approved the first reading of board policy

--approved next year's school calendar

--approved handbook changes for South Central High School

--honorably released teacher aides Tabitha Tipsword, Connie Githinji, Wendy Reid, Nancy Ritter, Twyla Hassebrock and Courtney Daugherty

--hired Dylan Dilley as certified staff for next school year

--hired Charles Owens and Shari Roberts as bus drivers

--accepted the resignation of Jodi Fatheree as guidance counselor
