Clay City Man Headed for Prison

A Clay City man is headed for prison after being sentenced in Fayette and Clay counties.
41-year-old Robert J. Sherman was sentenced in Fayette County to 30 months is prison, with one year mandatory supervisory release once out of prison. Sherman pleaded guilty Friday to a felony count of forgery.
The sentence will run concurrent with a five-year sentence out of Clay County for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
