Ohio Man Died and then Crashed

Authorities say an Ohio man involved in a crash Saturday in Effingham County died, and that led to the crash.

State police say the crash occurred at 11:20am on I-70 westbound, six miles east of Altamont.  A vehicle driven by 48-year-old Paul Drasutis of Defiance, Ohio, ran off the road and into a median where the vehicle was involved in what authorities termed a "minor crash".  

Authorities reaching the scene found Drasutis "unresponsive" and he was later pronounced dead.

Police say the death was not due to the crash, but the other way around.
