The trial of Zebadiah Houser has been continued to June.

The 25-year-old Houser is charged with concealment of a homicidal death.  He and 40-year-old Kristy Mathis face those charges for allegedly assisting Christine Burr in disposing of the body of Joseph Delaney in a rural area in Jasper County after Burr allegedly stabbed Delaney to death sometime after July 2011.

During a brief court appearance Monday morning, Houser requested the delay in the start of the trial until June 2.  The trial had been scheduled to begin April 14.

Houser is due back in court May 19 for a pre-trial hearing on pending motions.

Mathis and Burr are also slated to go on trial June 2.
