Prison Sentences Returned in Fayette County Cases

Prison sentences have been returned in several cases in Fayette County Circuit Court.
Brownstown resident Winona Demain pled guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials and was sentenced to four years in prison. The 34-year-old Demain also pled guilty to forgery and was sentenced to another four-year term. She also admitted to violating her probation on an underlying charge of bringing contraband into a penal institution, and was also sentenced to four years in prison on that count.

Teutopolis resident Kayla Bissell-Zumwalt admitted to violating her probation on two underlying charges of unlawful violation of an order of protection and was sentenced to two years in prison.

Vandalia resident Ashley Vandiver pled guilty to protection of methamphetamine manufacturing and was sentenced to three years in prison. The 25-year-old Vandiver also admitted to violating her probation on the underlying charge of unlawful posession of controlled substance and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Vandalia resident Georgia Hicks pled guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to two years in prison.
