Two Wisconsin residents are headed for prison after their guilty pleas to drug charges.
Shelby County State's Attorney Gina Vonderheide said 38-year-old Jason Stout and 32-year-old Amanda Walters were sentenced to three years each in prison after entering guilty pleas Friday to unlawful methamphetamine manufacturing material.
A Moweaqua police officer stopped a car driven by Stout in February in which Walters was a passenger. During the top, the officer observed several indicators for manufacturing methamphetamine. With the assistance of Shelby County Sheriff's Deputy Justin Dudra and members of the Illinois State Police Meth Response Team, items were discovered indicating a mobile meth lab.
