Missing Sigel Girls Found Safe

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is reporting that the search for a Stewardson Mom and her two daughters has ended peacefully. 39 year old Sherry Coonce was taken into custody without incident at about 3pm Saturday afternoon by the Cumberland County Sheriff's department.

The girls, ages 8 & 9, were taken along with Coonce, to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department, where they were reunited with their custodial parent.

This incident began Sunday, April 8th, when Coonce failed to return her two daughters, Destiny and Desirae Hewing, from visitation, resulting in the issuance of State warrant for Child Abduction.
