The four candidates for the Republican nomination for Effingham County Sheriff met Friday afternoon for a forum sponsored by the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce along with local media outlets including 979XFM and KJ Country 102.3.

Candidates Darren Feldkamp, John Gardner, Dave Mahon and Mike Schutzbach fielded questions dealing with four specific topics...management of the sheriff's department, drugs and alcohol, community relations and interagency cooperation, and new laws and compliance.
