Republican Lincoln Day Event This Saturday

The Effingham County Republican Central Committee is sponsoring an Effingham County Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday.  All four candidates for the Republican nomination for governor are scheduled to attend.

The event is actually a mid-day happening; a social time at noon and a lunch at 1pm at the Effingham VFW Post Home on Veterans Drive.

Republican gubernatorial hopefuls Bruce Rauner, Kirk Dillard, Bill Brady and Dan Rutherford are all slated to make an appearance.  Also confirmed to appear are Congressman John Shimkus, State Senator Kyle McCarter, State Representative John Cavaletto, State Treasurer candidate Bob Grogan, and all local Republican candidates.
