Two vehicles collided Tuesday night on Illinois Route 32 near the Effingham-Shelby County line.
Effingham County sheriff's deputies say the crash occurred at 6:03pm at 2000th Avenue. A SUV driven by 20-year-old Saulo Cosme-Cobix of Shelbyville collided with a unit driven by 20-year-old Matthew Nosbisch of Effingham.
Cosme-Cobix was treated at the scene, while Nosbisch was taken to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment and then was transferred to Carle Hospital in Urbana.
Nosbisch was cited for disobeying a stop sign, while Cosme-Cobix was ticketed for no valid driver's license.
