Four people were injured in a crash northwest of Effingham Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred just after 7am on Illinois Routes 32/33 at Stoneridge Drive, about two miles out of town. State police say 24-year-old Samantha March of Effingham attempted to turn into the Witt's Smokehouse and Deli parking lot and her vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Jennifer Hall of Gays.

March was injured, as were her two passengers, three-year-old Baiden March of Effingham and five-year-old Aurora March of Effingham. The three were taken to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. Baiden March was transferred to St. Louis Children's Hosptial for additional treatment. A passenger in Hall's vehicle, two-year-old Courtney Hall of Gays, was also injured and was taken to St. Anthony's for treatment.

Samantha March was cited for failure to yield.
