Four people were injured in a crash north of Dieterich Sunday evening.

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office said the crash occurred at 6:45pm on the Dieterich/Montrose Blacktop, about a mile north of Dieterich.

The report indicates a vehicle driven by 56-year-old Debra Niemerg of Wheeler did not stop at the intersection and struck a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Timothy Jansen of Teutopolis.  The impact caused Jansen's vehicle to roll over.

Niemerg and Jansen were both injured as were two passengers in Jansen's vehicle, 44-year-old Karen Jansen and 15-year-old Mitchell Jansen, both of Teutopolis.  Debra Niemerg was reportedly airlifted to Carle Hospital in Urbana while the three Jansens were taken to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Niemerg was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
