CHAMPAIGN — The boys state basketball tournaments ended Saturday at the State Farm Center.
In Class 1A, Chicago Hope Academy handily trounced Lanark Eastland, 71-38.
In Class 2A, Chicago Dyett downed Belleville Althoff, 52-41.
The Class 3A title went to DePaul over Chicago Brother Rice, 55-52.
In Class 4A, Lisle Benet Academy claimed a one-point rvictory over Gurnee Warren, 55-54.
The third place contest went to Evanston over Richton Park Rich Township, 73-70.
