Clifford “Cliff” Olin Kleinik, age 71, of Farina, Illinois passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at HSHS St. Elizabeth Hosptal in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Michael Durre will be officiating. Cliff was born on December 19, 1953 in Hillsboro, Illinois, the son of Donald Dean “Buck” and Jeannettie Mae “Jean” (Fogle) Kleinik. He married Kathy L. Alwardt on March 8, 2008 in Vandalia. He enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR lover.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Kleinik of Farina; daughters, Hannah Doll (husband Jerod) of Neoga and Osha Hutcherson (husband Justin) of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee; stepsons, Dammon Sharp of St. Peter, Ian Kuhlman (wife Courtney) of Shelbyville, and Gabriel Kuhlman (wife Victoria) of Belleville; brothers, Don Kleinik of St. Elmo, Michael Kleinik of Vandalia, John Kleinik of Vandalia; sisters, June Ruscher (husband Steve) of Kell and Mary Colvin of St. Elmo, Dottie Simpson of Vandalia; 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog, Lil Man “Bubby”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Jean Kleinik and sister, Jane Kleinik Norris.
