Karen Dall, 75, of Altamont, died at 3:09 p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2025 (her 75th birthday) at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altamont with Rev. Gary Fortkamp officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul ‘Blue Point’ Lutheran Church Cemetery, Altamont. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service time at the church. Memorials may be made to Lutheran Care Center, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, or Immanuel Lutheran Church After School Program. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Karen Ann Dall was born on Thursday, April 13, 1950 in Altamont to Louis and Mildred (Beccue) Milleville. She married Loren Alwardt in 1969 and he preceded her in death in 1996. She then married Gerald Dall in 1999 and he preceded her in death in 2015. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Collinsville. She retired as a registered nurse from Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis.
She is survived by; her sons, Michael Alwardt, Lowell, IN and Cory Alwardt, Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Valerie Lynn (Jeffrey) Fortner, Maryville; brothers, Kenneth (Judy) Milleville, Altamont, Timothy (Deanna) Milleville, Wichita, KS, Randall (Rosa) Milleville, Altamont; sister-in-law, Patricia Milleville, Effingham; Grandchildren, Lauren Fortner and Kaylei Alwardt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Milleville; sister, Doris Woehr; and brother-in-law, Larry Woehr.
