Annamaria “Anna” Isaac, 68, Effingham, IL, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Anna was born on December 1, 1956 in Pana, IL, daughter of Delmar and Betty (Haynes) Allen. She married Mark Isaac on September 24, 1992, and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2020. Anna worked as a teacher’s aide in Champaign for many years. She loved spending time on the family farm and going on vacation with her sisters. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, watching TV, and listening to music. Anna loved doing crafts, fishing, and was famous for her homemade egg rolls.
Anna is survived by her children, Donnica Duke and Corey (Katie) Isaac; grandchildren, Baileigh Duke, Deighlen Duke, Mystique Dalton, and Leslie Isaac; great-grandchild, Oakley Gambit; siblings, Delmar Allen, Paula Webber, Shirley Moreland, B.J. Scott, and Gerald Allen; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mark; and sister, Carla Sullivan.
