Personnel matters took up much of the time at Wednesday night’s Stewardson-Strasburg school board meeting.
The Board approved Cody Drone as boys varsity basketball coach for Windsor/Stew-Stras. Time was also taken to discuss scenarios for an athletic director position.
Board members approved non-certified wage increases for the coming school year, and also approved the re-hire of the stipend positions, club sponsors, and fall and winter sports coaches with the exception of 5th and 6th grade basketball.
Stew-Stras board members accepted the resignation of Lisa Harris as grade school Special Education instructor and of Katie Dandurand as paraprofessional. The Board also approved the student handbook for the coming school year; approved a three-year contract with Quality Network Solutions for tech services; and approved the purchase of a 2019 model activity bus for $59,960.
