Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation is conducting a child death investigation in White County.
Just before 1pm Friday, State Police were requested by the White County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the death investigation of a two-year-old child. The Child Death Investigative Task Force was subsequently activated.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
