Township Board – L to R Tom Cole Trustee, Lucas Helton Trustee, John Beldon Supervisor, Brian Rincker Trustee, Kevin Rincker Trustee, Linda Oakley Clerk, Joe Oakley Road Commissioner

47 years – that’s how long John Beldon has served as the Supervisor for Richland Township in Shelby County.  Beldon only missed two meetings during those 47 years!  Missing those because his wife was having a baby, and because he was in the hospital.  That’s called dedication!

The Richland Township Board recognized John at their April 3rd meeting with many of John’s family in attendance.  The plaque presented to John stated “In recognition of your 47 years of dedicated service leadership, devotion and commitment to Richland Township.  Thank you for your years of service.”

Beldon’s last meeting will be Thursday, May 1.  Brian Rincker was elected to the position of Richland Township Supervisor.
