Dieterich school board members Monday approved a technology upgrade proposal from Quality Network Solutions for $104,770.24. The Board also approved the annual food service management agreement with OPAA! Food Management at a cost increase of 3.6%.

Junior-Senior High School Principal Scott Kocher updated the Board on the senior class trip to Nashville and Chattanooga, TN on April 29-May 1.

In personnel moves, the Dieterich board accepted resignations from Clayton Campton as head junior high boys basketball coach and from Callaway Campton as assistant junior high boys basketball coach and from Jordan Christy as assistant high school volleyball coach. The Board then hired Callaway Campton as head junior high boys basketball coach for the coming school year. Also, Josh Tegeler, Johnny Berlin, Ryan Locey and Ryan Michl were named volunteer boat captains for the Bass Fishing team.

The Board discussed the fee schedule for the coming school year; results from the April elections; plans for Staff Appreciation Week on May 5-9; and learned that Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is coming to Dieterich and Montrose, then chose to donate $500 toward start-up costs.
