Local State Representative Adam Niemerg of Dieterich said that a bill concerning homeschooling has stalled in the Illinois legislature. The measure would have required more reporting by homeschooling parents.
Niemerg said the measure could be revisited next month.
Niemerg also shared that a bill that would eliminate Native American logos and mascots in Illinois schools has passed in the House and will next be considered by the Senate.
