A local woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash early on Thursday morning.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office reports a car driven by 34-year-old Tomeka Price of Effingham was traveling on Funkhouser Road, north of 1175th Avenue, when the car ran off the right side of the road. The car ended up in the ditch, then flipped forward onto its top and continued sliding on the snow.
Price was injured and was taken by Rural Med EMS to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
No citations were issued.
