Effingham’s first-ever Holiday Lights and Festive Sights Holiday Tour is underway today.
20 homes were accepted for this year’s tour, and all 20 entrants received a yard sign denoting their participation.
Starting today, take your family on a tour around town. Pick up a scorecard from Visit Effingham at City Hall, or download it from the City’s social media channels, and vote for your favorite home on the tour by December 30. The People’s Choice winner will walk away with $250.
Homes can be voted for online at Visit Effingham’s Facebook page, which is Visit Effingham, e-mail at www.VisitEffinghamIL.com or in person at City Hall at 201 E. Jefferson Avenue. Voting will be open until the 30th at noon. The People’s Choice winner will be announced on December 30th in the afternoon.
